Being a hero doesn’t require you to have some huge, superpower. In our society, risking your life for the life of someone else and showing love for the person next to you are considered heroic actions. Mamoudou Gassama is a 22-year-old immigrant from Africa, who did one of the most heroic actions we’ve seen lately. While walking on the steet he saw a small child dangling from a balcony. His instinct told him that he had to do something to save the kid, so he started climbing the four storeys in order to reach the child. His action did not go unnoticed and it was the beginning of Mamoudou’s new life in France.

Our world needs more people like Mamoudou and less of those who kill, torture and rape. Unfortunately, there are many everyday heroes, whose actions go unnoticed and no one will ever know their heroic actions.
