Irish graffiti artist Robyn Ward decided to talk about politics and various other socio-economic issues using famous comic book characters as his transportation. His series Once Upon a Time is going back in time to explore adolescence and iinocence and how these are interrupted by drug culture, sociological issues and sexual mores. The works of art are combining the dark humour and the adult sensibility coming in total contrast with teen rebellion. What’s left in the viewer after seeing the works of art is an image of how our world has changed and how our values and beliefs have been altered.

They’d rather kill themselves by playing Russian Roulette than be killed by illegal hunters.
Anything to make life seem better.
