Carpet tiles are not a new innovation in the interior design business. They have been here for quite a while now, but they haven’t been shown the proper attention. Commercial flooring brand Shaw Contract collaborated with Swedish studio Form Us With Love in order to create a modular carpet concept, that puts carpets in the center of attention. The colors and geometric shapes of the carpets create their own interior style, inviting people to built the rest of the house based on the carpet of their choice. This is a completely new way of thinking on carpets, which should not be treated as a way to keep your interior warm, but also an easy way of decorating your interiors and make them stylish.
These carpets can cover an entire space from one side to the other, leaving no uncovered floor.
However, they can vary in shapes, leaving parts of the floor uncovered, creating diversity.
The carpets come in 4 geometric shapes. Square, diagonal, point and curve.
They also come in 12 different colors, giving customers the opportunity to choose between darker and lighter shades.
They guarantee to change the dynamic of any interior that they are placed in.
Customers can choose the colors and shapes that they want their own carpet to have.
Basically, a blank canvas starts the process where users can arrange and rearrange the tiles how they want, along with changing the colors.
The series of carpets was designer having commercial places in mind, but residential use in also encouraged.
Customers should think of these carpet as a personal way of artistic expression.
Instead of offering carpets that are pre-fixed, the collaborative collection offers the customer to create their own design and make it the way they think suits them and their house best.
The size, shape and textures are the customer’s choice.
