Dog Jumped In Front of a Venomous Snake and Got Bitten in Order to Save His Human

Every person who has a dog friend living with them know that it is mandatory business to take the dog out for a walk every day. Dogs are expecting you to take them on a walk and wait anxiously every single day for that moment to come. In most cases a walk with a dog is uneventful, with the worst case being the occurrence of a stray, wild dog who might come after you. For Paula Godwin from Anthem, USA, the worst case was a lot worse. To be more specific, while walking her two dogs, she came across a venomous rattlesnake, which unfortunately bit Todd, who jumped in front in order to save his human friend.

Todd and his other friend Cooper were going for a walk with their human Paula, when an unexpected enemy approached them.

While on a walk, a venomous rattlesnake appeared in front of them

The snake stood peacefully on the street in front of Paula.

Paula almost stepped on the snake

This is probably why the snake became so hostile.

But, it was Ted who stepped in front of Paula and saved her from the snake’s bite

Todd received the bite that was meant to hurt Paula, who almost stepped on the lying snake.

Paula rushed Todd to the nearest veterinary clinic

His face had swollen up terribly.

The doctor gave him an anti-venom shot and kept him in the clinic for the rest of the day

Everyone wanted to make sure that Todd was 100% fine.

The 6-month-old puppy is now recovering

Todd’s recovery is going great and he is already back in his normal pace.

He truly deserves the title of a ‘hero’

Not only dogs keep us company and make our lives happier, but they also make sure that nothing bad happens to us. This is not just heroism, but also pure love.
