What the Niagara Falls are famous about is their powerful and unique waterfalls. People from around the world travel there just to take a glimpse of these waterfalls, but there are times when even the falls freeze during the winter. While the entire falls have never and will never freeze in their entirety, since 3,000 tons of water flow the edge, but some of the water will freeze with the rest growing a thin shell of ice. The images that people have taken are pure magic and we guess that many of you would love to see this spectacle from a close distance.

Icy mist at dusk.

Standing frozen at the edge.

Dreamy vacation home.

A mass of ice.

A rainbow always fits perfectly.

Boulders on ice.

Nature can leave you speechless

The flowing water in the Niagara Falls may never freeze completely, but it is magnificent how the entire area can wear its white and the water still runs in the falls.
