The 2018 Underwater Photography Of The Year (UPY) contest announced yet another year the best underwater photos that captured life under the ocean. As scary as the ocean may look on the outside, it is a lot more beautiful and peaceful on its inside and this is what the photographs that won show. A total of 5,000 photographs were submitted for the 11 categories and the grand prize. The photographs had to be all taken underwater, with split-levels being accepted as well and there were no restrictions on post processing.
