Sculpture by the Sea is an annual art event held at the coastal walk of Bondi to Tamarama. It is one of Sydney’s most popular events, with over 500,000 visitors coming to enjoy 100 sculptures from artists from around the globe. It has been held since 1997 and the public can visit it for free in a span of three weeks. For 2018, 107 sculptures were chosen to “decorate” 2km of the coastline at Bondi. The popularity of the event seems to keep getting bigger and bigger as years go by and the artists interested in entering their piece are getting larger in numbers.
