Pete and Sue Hill, according to their official webiste are: “Brother and sister, have been making things together since 1996. Based in Cornwall, they work all over the world making theatre, creating artworks (mainly out of mud, plants, steel and mosaic) and setting fire to things.”

The project we are going to show you today, is called Mud Maid and is, indeed, a living sculpture; which means that what appears to be her clothes and hair actually consist of living plants and as such they grow and wither, following the eternal circle of life, depending on the season. This artwork is located in Cornwall, in the Southwest of England, and gives this already magical place an even more mysterious aura.
