What happens when a pregnant woman has entered her 9th month and contractions start? Most women would rush to the hospital, but Jes, who is already a mother of 5, didn’t worry, since she thought that they were simple contractions. The truth is that they were contractions preparing her for labor and when this long one came, she told her husband that ‘it was time’. She also had her birth photographer with her, who was tasked to take photos of the entire process. Although Jes couldn’t wait to get in a room and give birth the usual way, her son came out in perfect health just on the hospital’s floor.

Tammy Karin of Little Leapling Photography arrived at the hospital just in time to capture the birth

If that’s not incredible, then I don’t know what is.

Tammy said that she is always ready to face the unexpected, since all births are not the same.

Well, that’s good for her.

During this moment, Jes was trying to calm herself and be her own ‘pilot’.

In the photographer’s images the moment of birth is showing, but we had to pixelise them due to graphic material.

Jes says that she’s never been more in love with her husband, who stood calmly next to her.

Wouldn’t we all be?

The baby was born 3 minutes after the first nurse rushed to Jes

Well, that was quick.

After the birth, the nurse put the baby on her chest and her husband kept on calming her

How wholesome is that?

Through her experience, Jes wants all women to remember that birth is a magical moment no matter how it happens

It’s the miracle of life, after all.

This is Jes and Travis with their 5 daughters and newborn son.

I am pretty sure that if you ask them why they went for a 6th kid, they will tell you because they wanted to have a son. It seems that their goal was reached and they can now relax raising their 6 kids.
